12 - 13 June Special make-up effects course
This course is the first in a series of seminars that CreaFx propose over the coming months. The main purpose is to train qualified personnel implanted in the body of work. The first course will offer its participants to learn and experiment with techniques for creating special make-up effects on a basic level. The program is specifically designed for those who want begin studying special effects makeup and will focus on demonstration and implementation of effects such as wounds, bruises, burns, fractures, etc.. (See program below) Under the guidance of professional make-up with participants use their hands raw materials, professional cosmetics, models and applications in latex prosthetics and will be taught the completion of not toxic stage blood. The course is suitable and thought of those who have no experience with the techniques discussed and will allow participants to become independent in the realizations of base effects. PROGRAMMA

Soon the CreaFx move its laboratories and offices into one large space on the outskirts of Florence.

CreaFx exhibit at the Salone del Mobile
At the Salone del Mobile 2010 in Florence, CreaFx produces various sculptural installations preparing the prestigious Hall of Columns at the Fortezza da Basso. When installing submitted art and furnishings blend together to create new emotions. The two sculptures that greet visitors at the fair are plaster casts taken from tradition as hyper Segaliana. Environments have created a strong visual impact and the bright colors of the clothes of the sculptures draw the attention of every visitor. The CreaFx also proposed two design works, fitting even more interior universe. Through the techniques of anatomical reproductions, the CreaFx proposes a study to a rack and brackets shelves. The artist's paintings, portrait-painter Elena Sardelli complete the construction of the hall and win many positive reviews. Course for ANPAS Piemonte about the special injuries make-up effects
The CreaFx held at the headquarters of Grugliasco (TO) a seminar for trainers and volunteers ANPAS, Piemonte Regional Committee. During the two day period the CreaFx taught the basic techniques to create special effects makeup to simulate: wounds, bruises, burns, abrasions and all those volunteers who daily traumas ANPAS we face in reality. The goal is to use these effects in simulations of accidents, organized annually by the Committee ANPAS Piemonte . Recreating and simulating any type of trauma in a realistic and truthful to the best will increase the capacity of voluntary ANPAS to respond safely and training to the most critical situations of emergency.
